Racemi Adds Leader of Global Alliances Initiatives

Tech veteran Steve Barriero joins cloud computing migration company

Racemi, a provider of automated server migration software, announces the addition of Steve Barriero as vice president of global alliances and business development bringing his more than 30 years experience at CA Technologies, HP/Compaq, and AT&T.

Prior to joining Racemi, he was senior director at CA Technologies with responsibilities that included aligning business and technical objectives with the company's strategic alliance partners. Before that, Barriero did similar work at HP for go-to-market partner initiatives. He started his career at AT&T in technical roles, including software development and data center operations.

"Steve is well-known in the tech industry and brings a wealth of experience to Racemi in terms of how we approach and work with our alliance partners," said Lawrence Guillory, CEO of Racemi. "We've always been a company driven by business alliances and I look forward to working with Steve as we add new partners and forge deeper relationships with our current partners."

Racemi's current alliance partners include cloud providers such as Amazon and IBM SoftLayer, along with systems integrators such as Cloud Technology Partners, CloudNexa, and WSM.

Barriero will lead Racemi's strategy and execution plans with many of these alliance partners, plus managed service providers (MSPs), for migrating and onboarding end customers to public, private, or hybrid clouds.

He holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida.
