.WIEN is a new gTLD extension that caters to businesses, organizations, individuals and any other entities associated with Vienna, the Austrian capital. The vertically integrated retail operation for .WIEN, netzadresse.at GmbH, focuses specifically on the Austrian market, offering regional TLDs such as .TIROL and .AT as well. This strategy will enable them to gain direct access to local business, and effectively help to maximize the TLD’s adoption.

The retail business now runs on LogicBoxes’ domain distribution and business automation SaaS platform – OrderBox which is already being used by about 110 Registrars as of today.
